At the recent 2025 Guangzhou Auto Show, Chery unveiled its latest offering, the Fulwin T9L, a large five-seat SUV that promises to redefine expectations for performance and technology. Positioned under Chery’s Fulwin sub-brand, this vehicle is set to enter the Chinese market between March and April 2026.
The T9L showcases Chery’s ‘Eastern calligraphy’ design language, featuring a minimalist front with narrow headlights, large side air vents on the bumper, and an integrated LiDAR system in its roof. This sleek exterior is complemented by semi-hidden door handles and a rear design that includes a full-width taillight and upturned spoiler.
Dimensions-wise, the T9L measures 4,870 millimeters long, 1,930 millimeters wide, and 1,710 millimeters tall with a wheelbase of 2,920 millimeters. This spacious interior offers generous second-row legroom at 1,037 millimeters, ensuring comfort for all passengers.
Under the hood, the T9L is powered by Chery’s Kunpeng plug-in hybrid CDM architecture paired with the DHT260 ultra-hybrid transmission, delivering a combined output of 260 kW and 330 N·m torque. This setup allows for an estimated 0-100 km/h acceleration time in the 5-second range, making it one of the quickest SUVs on the market.
The Fulwin T9L also boasts advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) powered by Horizon Robotics’ Journey 6P chip and HSD software. This Falcon 700+ system is designed to handle complex traffic scenarios with defensive-driving strategies, reducing speed when risks are detected.
Inside, the Lingxi Smart Cockpit 2.0 features a flagship cabin chip built around a full LCD instrument panel and large central touchscreen. Additional amenities include wireless phone charging, a 17.3-inch rear display, zero-gravity front seats, an onboard refrigerator with temperature range from -6°C to 50°C, and a 23-speaker audio system.
