Chevy Silverado EVs Embark on Holiday Road Trip Across America

Chevrolet is set to embark on a festive journey across the United States with its Chevrolet Silverado EV, marking the fifth installment of their ‘Holiday Card to America’ campaign. A convoy of electric pickups will travel nearly 3,000 miles from San Diego to Detroit, making stops in Dallas, Nashville, and Atlanta along the way.

The trip aims to highlight the capabilities of the new Silverado EV, showcasing its impressive range, towing capacity, and mobile power features at various events. In each city, the vehicles will participate in lighting ceremonies for holiday trees and surprise onlookers with light shows while providing offboard power for community gatherings.

Chevrolet’s campaign also includes a 60-second advertisement featuring an empty-nest couple reminiscing about past family trips in their classic Chevrolet Suburban. The ad, produced by Anomaly and Park Pictures, will air during NFL football games on FOX and on the Chevrolet YouTube channel starting December 1.

The Silverado EV is available in three trims: Custom, LT, and a new Trail Boss edition, with prices starting at $55,895. The vehicle boasts an impressive driving range of up to 494 miles, can tow up to 12,500 lbs, and offers up to 10.2 kW of offboard power through multiple outlets.

Chevrolet is also offering special financing options for the Silverado EV and other electric models in its lineup. The company is providing 0% APR financing on all 2025 model year electric vehicles, including the Blazer EV and Equinox EV, to encourage more customers to experience the benefits of electric driving.

Interested consumers can find Chevrolet dealerships near them through links provided by Electrek for test drives. The company’s efforts to promote its new electric models during the holiday season demonstrate a strategic approach to raising awareness about their capabilities and advantages over traditional gasoline-powered vehicles.
