Leapmotor Unveils A10 Electric Vehicle at Guangzhou Auto Show

Chinese automaker Leapmotor has unveiled its new compact electric vehicle, the A10, at the recent Guangzhou Auto Show. The model is set to launch in China by the first half of 2026 and pre-orders are now available for a price point below 100,000 yuan (approximately €12,200). This entry-level EV aims to capture the market with its affordable pricing and advanced features.

The A10 measures 4.31 meters in length, 1.83 meters in width, and 1.68 meters in height, positioning it roughly on par with models like BYD’s Atto 2. Its sleek design is reminiscent of Leapmotor’s other offerings, such as the C10. The vehicle’s compact size belies its spacious interior due to its dedicated electric architecture.

Technical specifications for the A10 reveal that it has a range of up to 500 kilometers under China’s CLTC standard. Charging capabilities are impressive, with the battery able to go from 30% to 80% in just 16 minutes using fast charging technology. The car is equipped with an LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery pack and features ADAS systems powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processors.

The A10 also includes innovative safety measures, such as blue exterior lights that signal when the driver assistance systems are active. This feature aims to improve road safety awareness for other drivers. Additionally, it boasts a panoramic glass roof and 18-inch wheels. The infotainment system is powered by a Snapdragon 8295P processor, providing users with an advanced technology experience.

Leapmotor’s international partner, Stellantis, will market the A10 in Europe under the name B03X. This strategic partnership highlights Leapmotor’s ambition to expand globally, offering its products beyond China’s borders while adapting them to local preferences and regulations. As Leapmotor continues to grow its model range, the A10 represents a significant addition to their lineup with competitive pricing and advanced technology.
