Nano One Secures Major Grant to Boost LFP Battery Capacity
Nano One Materials, a Canadian company with expertise in lithium-ion battery cathode active materials (CAM), has received significant funding from the Canadian government. The C$5 million grant, provided by Natural Resources Canada's Energy Innovation Program, will support Nano One’s expansion of their LFP CAM production at facilities in Candiac and Burnaby.With this investment, Nano One plans to increase its production capacity from 200 tonnes per year to a minimum of 800 tonnes annually.
