SAIC Motor's electric vehicle subsidiary, IM Motors, has made its mark on the premium EV market by launching the LS6 SUV as the IM6 in New Zealand. Starting deliveries in December, this right-hand-drive model is priced from NZ$66,900 (approximately $37,490 USD), setting a competitive base for what could become a significant player in the region's electric vehicle arena.The IM6 comes in three distinct variants: Premium, Platinum, and Performance AWD. The Premium variant features a single rear motor with 217 kW peak power and a torque of 450 Nm, capable of accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.4 seconds.
