DGT Warns of Dangers on Dozens of Roads Due to Snowfall in Northern Spain
The Directorate General for Traffic (DGT) has issued a warning that there are dozens of roads where it is dangerous to drive due to snow. The situation is particularly dire in the north, especially in regions such as Cantabria and Asturias.
In these northern areas, the use of chains or winter tires is mandatory due to recent severe weather conditions. Over the past few days, television broadcasts have been warning about the arrival of a polar air mass that has significantly dropped temperatures and caused snowfall at lower elevations.
