Lumga Design, a Thai-based tuner renowned for its bodykit creations, has transformed the cute and quirky Ora Good Cat into something far more aggressive. Building on the initial resemblance to Porsche models that many have noted since its debut in 2020, Lumga’s new bodykit turns the Chinese electric vehicle (EV) into a near-clone of the iconic Porsche 911 GT3 RS.
Starting with the front end, the transformation includes large intakes and a splitter reminiscent of the Porsche. The hood now features faux scoops, complete with black front fender vents that echo those on the latest 992-generation GT3 RS. Lumga has also extended the side skirts to mimic the look of its German inspiration while adding an integrated diffuser at the rear.
While Lumga Design offers a choice for owners looking for a more toned-down look, akin to the Porsche GT3 Touring variant, they have not included any performance upgrades. The Ora Good Cat retains its stock fenders and bumpers as optional choices in this transformation, with an option to tint the headlights surrounded by black trim.
Owners interested in giving their Ora Good Cat a new look can order the bodykit through Amotriz for THB 42,000 (approximately RM 5,600). The kit provides a striking visual transformation without altering the vehicle’s performance capabilities. It’s worth noting that despite its cute appearance and modest power rating of 143 PS with a 7.9-second 0 to 60 mph acceleration time, the Good Cat’s instant torque makes it feel more sprightly than expected.
As we reported in our previous analysis on MG cars, Thai enthusiasts continue to push boundaries by adapting and enhancing foreign EV models available in their market. This innovative approach not only adds a unique flair but also showcases the potential for customization within the growing electric vehicle segment. The Ora Good Cat’s transformation into a GT3 RS lookalike is just another example of how these vehicles can be personalized beyond factory specifications.
