Dutch public transport operator EBS has made a significant move towards sustainability by placing an order with Chinese manufacturer BYD for 73 electric buses. The delivery of these vehicles, which include both 12-meter and 15-meter battery-electric models, is expected to commence as early as next summer, with full service initiation in December 2026.The partnership between EBS and BYD isn't new; the two companies already worked together on a project in September 2023 when EBS deployed 43 electric buses from BYD in Haaglanden-Streek.
